Dr. Dietmar Adrian Schulz is a specialist in orthopaedics and trauma surgery with an impressive international career. He combines extensive expertise in treating conditions and injuries of the musculoskeletal system with a particular passion for sports traumatology and joint-preserving therapies.
After completing his high school education at the Goethe School in Asunción (Paraguay), Dr. Schulz studied medicine at the Catholic University of Villarrica. He completed his residency in orthopaedics and trauma surgery in Paraguay and subsequently had his qualifications formally recognized in Spain, Germany, and Switzerland, where he further deepened his expertise.
Throughout his long-standing medical career, Dr. Schulz gained broad surgical and conservative experience. His professional journey has included positions at the Instituto de Previsión Social in Asunción, the Ostseeklinik Damp in Germany, the district hospital in Rheinfelden, as well as renowned clinics in the Balearic Islands such as Hospital Quirón Palmaplanas and Mutua ASEPEYO in Palma. Since 2025, he has been working as a consultant specialist at the Instituto de Medicina y Rehabilitación Avanzada (IMAR) and Mutua Intercomarcal in Palma de Mallorca.
His range of care spans conservative orthopaedics, arthroscopic procedures, and sports medicine. Dr. Schulz places great emphasis on patient-centered medicine, combining state-of-the-art techniques with empathy and sustainable treatment concepts. He also holds the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, further underlining his expertise in sports orthopaedics.
Dr. Schulz is fluent in German, Spanish, and English and is an active member of several professional societies, reflecting his commitment to continuous education and international networking.
