As a specialist in pediatric and adolescent medicine with many years of experience both nationally and internationally, Dr. med. Normann’s goal is not only to treat children medically but to accompany them holistically. Her work combines solid conventional medical knowledge with naturopathic methods, manual medicine, and a developmental perspective.
This creates a medicine that not only alleviates symptoms but also promotes, strengthens, and sustainably supports health.
Dr. med. Normann studied medicine at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster. Her professional path then took her to the USA, where she completed her specialist training and worked for many years in outpatient pediatrics. Returning to Germany, she gained further clinical experience at Clemenshospital Münster and the Clinic for Manual Medicine in Hamm. Additionally, she worked in the allergology and pulmonology specialist practice of the pediatricians Borghorst. Through additional qualifications in manual medicine for infants and children, medical osteopathy, and developmental pediatrics, she expanded her medical spectrum – always with the goal of supporting her young patients individually and holistically.
Health means more than just the absence of illness. It is about promoting the physical, emotional, and mental development of a child as a whole. Dr. med. Normann sees her work as accompaniment – not only in acute situations but also preventively and supportively in everyday life.
