Dr. med. Wolfgang Czichon has been practicing as a specialist in orthopaedics on Mallorca for over two decades. He has earned an excellent reputation as a holistic expert in the treatment of diseases and functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Since 1999, he has been working on the island, combining well-founded conventional medicine with modern, gentle therapeutic methods.

After completing his medical studies and receiving his medical license at the University of Essen in 1983, Dr. med. Czichon completed his specialist training at the University of Oberhausen, obtaining his board certification in orthopaedics in 1992.

His areas of expertise cover a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services:

• X-ray and ultrasound examinations of joints and soft tissues, including color Doppler ultrasound
• Osteoporosis diagnostics using multi-site ultrasound
• Chiropractic and osteopathy
• Acupuncture and kinesiology
• Sports medicine

In addition, Dr. med. Czichon is a recognized expert in traumatology and pediatric orthopaedics – with a particular focus on the gentle and effective treatment of functional complaints, especially those involving the back, joints, and muscles. His therapy concept is based on low-side-effect, individually tailored methods that harmonize body, mind, and movement – in line with a holistic approach to orthopaedic medicine.

Dr. med. Wolfgang Czichon is also a board member of the German Society for Musculoskeletal Medicine (DGMSM), where he actively contributes to the advancement of modern manual medical treatment approaches.
