Did you know?
Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in men. The earlier it is detected, the better the chances of successful treatment.
Why early detection matters?

- Early detection allows for treatment in the early stages
- Regular screening can save lives and help prevent complications
What examinations are available?
- PSA test: Measures prostate-specific antigen in the blood. Elevated levels may indicate changes in the prostate.
- Digital rectal examination: A physical exam by the doctor to feel for lumps or hard areas in the prostate.
- Ultrasound & MRI: Detailed imaging for further evaluation when necessary.
Who should get screened?
- Men aged 45 and older with a family history of prostate cancer
- Men aged 50 and older without known risk factors
- Any symptoms such as urination problems, blood in urine, or pelvic pain

- Yearly screening starting at age 50
- More frequently and individually tailored if you have increased risk or abnormal findings
